Hey there! I really like your blog and while I agree completely with your message, I keep having a moral quandary about your methods. I know you've mentioned it before, but could you go further in depth about what makes it ok to post people's full names online and invite people to seek them out? I absolutely believe in calling out their behavior, but I feel that it puts their safety at risk and there's a part of me that worries over that. Would you mind explaining it to me fully?
If someone posts something using the “public” privacy setting on Facebook, it is 100% public. You don’t have to be Facebook friends with them to see it. Hell, you don’t even need to have a Facebook to see it. If you Google their name that post will come right up.
So it’s not like I’m making private things public. This shit was already as public as possible before I even put it on my blog. I’m just re-posting what they already saw fit to share with anyone with internet access.
And all their info? Location, phone number, ect? That was already 100% public as well.
